If you run a business in Comal County and you have landed here, the short version is this: my name is Jordan Polasek, I founded BVTech LLC in 2013, and a meaningful share of the businesses I look after are right here — in New Braunfels, around Canyon Lake, up in Bulverde and Spring Branch, out toward Garden Ridge and Schertz. Why Comal County

Comal County has quietly become one of the fastest-growing counties in the entire United States. New Braunfels alone has been near the top of the national growth charts for the better part of a decade, and the surrounding communities have grown right along with it. That growth is exciting, and it is also the reason this county needs serious IT help more than it used to. A decade ago, a small Comal County business ran on a couple of computers and a phone line. Today that same business runs on cloud platforms, card-payment systems, security cameras, Wi-Fi its customers expect to just work, and a dozen online services holding sensitive data — and every one of those things is a door that has to be watched.

The businesses growing fastest are often the ones with the least time to think about any of this. That is precisely the gap I built BVTech to fill, and it is why I have leaned into serving this part of Texas as it has grown.

Who I actually am

I am not a faceless help-desk number, and BVTech is not a national chain with a Comal County billing address. My technology career started in 2004 with industrial robotics on the Texas Gulf Coast, ran through a decade as a certified sleep-medicine technologist, took me through formal ethical-hacker-level security training in Houston, and led me to found BVTech in 2013. Since then I have built the firm from a break-fix shop into a full managed service provider, served as a lead technician managing thousands of endpoints, and — the moment I am still proud of — won SuperOps Solo MSP of the Year in 2023, first place, against a field of much larger firms.

Today I am AWS-certified, hold a string of security and platform credentials, and am most of the way through a Bachelor of Applied Technology in Cloud Computing with a 4.0 GPA. I mention all of it not to boast but because, when you are handing someone the keys to your business systems, you deserve to know exactly who is holding them.
